A US Patent Application detailing a potential Google Glass successor with smart home controls has been published. The AR wearable has an integrated sensor for object recognition, allowing you to interact with smart home devices with hand gestures. Examples include playing music from a speaker or adjusting a thermostat.

That's right notebookcheck, people are going to buy a special pair of glasses so they can turn their lights on and off. This is definitely going to be a product.
