Xiaomi has announced which smartphones will no longer be officially supported in the future. The list is extensive and also includes popular models; the discontinuation of support is likely to become a security-relevant factor for users sooner or later.https://www.notebookcheck.net/Xiaomi-Mi-and-Poco-These-smartphones-are-no-longer-officially-supported-potentially-posing-a-security-risk.771561.0.html
Xiaomi, like other smartphone manufacturers, should be legally prohibited from selling their products in Western countries without support for at least 5 years (and preferably 10). The rest of the countries simply catch up with Western legislation in terms of legislation, so they are just imitators of the fight for consumer rights.
This is disgraceful. The Xiaomi 10T is currently for sale on their website for £469 but won't receive any updates? This should be illegal.
This phone launched around the same time the Pixel 4a / Pixel 4a 5g / Pixel 5 launched - and they're no longer supported either, so it isn't surprising it's no longer supported.
That being said, they shouldn't still be selling it anymore on their official store if they still are.

Where did you see that? The 11T isn't even listed on their site.

Why is that when Google didnt even go past 3 until recent times?
The Pixel 4a was released less than month before the MI 10T and support ended in this year. Just in case you didn't know Xiaomi have extended support on their Flagship range to 5 years
Eh, with xiaomi you can always UBL, root and add your layer of security itself. Some mentioned EOL devices have robust community support. My mi4 even got Android 13

You are mistaken. The Xiaomi 10T was launched in 2020. It's not currently for sale on their website. Do you mean the Xiaomi 13T with Leica lens?
So..... If I am the proud owner of a poco x3 pro? Does that mean I am screwed and won't be getting android 14? Like wtf!!!! X3 pro was a top selling product for the poco brand !
I own a POCO X3 NFC and the very first day of its release in the Philippines I quickly pre-ordered. I only got 3yrs+ of using this and now it'll stop receiving updates?? It's unfair for us owners who have been trying to take care of our devices just to be forced to replace and buy a new one just because it won't receive any updates anymore. What's the particular reason? I hope they can elaborate their explanation.
Very short period.
I think the support must extend to seven years at least.
You know I damage my Poco screen after short time of use.
I didn't found the replace just now.
That means I want to use my Poco X3 NFC just now.
Please extend support 4 years more.
By the way what we mean by custom ROM.
Thank you and best regard.
What about poco x4 pro 5g
