A Tesla teardown and software analyst has noticed mentions in a firmware update that buyers of the 2024 Tesla Model Y base model may have to pay extra for front heated seats. Alongside mention of a front heated seat software lock, the new Model Y may be software limited to a range of 260 miles (418 km). https://www.notebookcheck.net/2024-Tesla-Model-Y-leak-points-to-paid-range-unlock-alongside-charge-for-front-heated-seats.768585.0.html
I wonder about the mental fortitude of someone yearning to own a Tesla, especially the butt ugly model Y

Let's be honest, here. Teslas all kinda look the same, and they're all dated. Except for the new Model 3, which is kind of nice, but only because it basically apes Porsche design cues.
I personally think the Model Y looks pretty good.
By upsetting customers Tesla should worry about it's bad culture towards service. The cars won't sell themselves forever if this doesn't change.
