Apple unveiled the latest iterations of the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro, powered by Apple's new M3 family of chips. The new models feature a new color, increased RAM, and improved performance, particularly with regard to graphics.

Rather comically my old 2013 i5 (dual core!) powered MBP still does everything I need 10yrs later and is still going strong.

I suppose if you actually DO need to have more performance one of these new models might be just the ticket! :)

I had some hope Notebookcheck would not fall in the trap, alas...

Apple cut the price, because they castrated the base model.
It now comes with the standard M3 (not the Pro chip), and 8(!!!)Gig of ram...in 2023

The prices between M2 Pro/Max and M3 Pro/Max for the same specs are more or less the same.

But the option are still completely insane and overpriced.
