AMD is confident that its new Threadripper PRO series has it all for use-cases ranging from "world-class" creation to "generative" design in manufacturing - a new top-end variant with double the cores and threads of the outgoing 5995WX flagship included. The 7000WX line-up also introduces PCIe 5.0 support, an increased top clock and a larger TDP, yet is touted to do so with "industry-leading efficiency" as well as potentially unprecedented speed and bandwidth.
