Title: Dell Latitude 7340 laptop review: 0.22 lb weight savings at the expense of a few percent performance
Post by: Redaktion on October 17, 2023, 13:32:53
Dell provides a 13.3-inch compact laptop that is somewhat lighter than the 14-inch Latitude 7440 recently reviewed, but this comes at the expense of minor sacrifices. Our Dell Latitude 7340 review indicates which tiny notebook is the superior pick.

Again, stupid savings on a penny retimer to output 2 x TB4 symmetrically - left and right, convenient for both left-handers and right-handers. How could one get another usb-a 3.2 gen 2..

Against the background of the price, 16GB looks ugly from the greedy Dell (besides, they are disgustingly tuned in the BIOS), but against the background of the low performance of the SoC (here it is - an honest 16W in PL1 and you can immediately see how Intel is turning into a pumpkin!), the laptop is already morally outdated requirements for average performance level and, of course, no longer even at the end of 2023, not to mention the period of 3+ future years..

So it will continue to gather dust on store shelves until it is discounted by 2-2.5 times. And such models are most often sold for kickbacks in bulk in the corporate segment.

Alas, Intel cannot offer anything in the sector of low-power processors with sufficient performance for 2023. Even support for TB4 ports does not help - with such SoC performance - what is the practical point of them?

Seems an acceptable device for office if it was at half the price.
