AYANEO is edging ever closer to releasing the SLIDE, its first gaming handheld with a slide-up display like the GPD Win 4. Still slated to arrive with an AMD Ryzen 7 7840U APU, the AYANEO SLIDE has now been shown for the first time in a series of hands-on pictures.

I love the design, though I'd steer clear of any sort of complicated mechanisms in already advanced designs like this, especially from a company like this (no USA, not enough funding, low staff, virtually no customer service, etc).

Even OnePlus had to scrap the mechanical selfie cam after the OnePlus 7 Pro.

Looks nice but I have a feeling with that tilt up screen the mechanism will be prone to breakage.

Win 4 is simple and brings back that nostalgic PSP feeling
