The Steam Deck may still be the de-facto gaming handheld in 2023, but that doesn't mean there aren't alternatives. Companies like Asus, GPD, and OneXPlayer have all released excellent alternatives to the Deck that deserve consideration — especially by those looking for more performance.

The GPD Win 4 was recently updated an is now actively shipping with AMD Ryzen 7840U / 7640U processors and LPDDR5x 7500 MT/s

Thanks for pointing that out. We haven't reviewed the updated version, but it's worth noting that it's available. The article has been updated.
