still too expensive imo i bought recently on amazon fanxiang s880 2tb for only $89 and no issues with it and speeds are as advertised
Yeah, any SSD, even Gen5, that has a tag that's over $50 a terabyte today is just asking for dust on it from over extended shelf life from not selling well.
Clearly, some OEMs still foolishly think that their storage mediums are still considered a premium product (it NEVER was, though, but ONLY to a handful of users and greedy, out of touched with consumers, OEMs.
I guess they need to bleed even more revenue this quarter, and the next and the next after that one because it seems that they can handle the suffering. Good luck with that.

No name SSD that isn't on par or better than this Lexar isn't a full replacement. Especially when you don't really get any warranty for it. Also, you don't have to buy high-end SSDs if you aren't utilizing their features.
