Measuring just 65 x 30 mm, the Waveshare RP2040 Pi-Zero board has the same form factor as the popular Raspberry Pi Zero. It comes equipped with an RP2040 microcontroller, 16 MB of NOR flash, and supports storage expansion through a microSD card slot.https://www.notebookcheck.net/Waveshare-launches-RP2040-Pi-Zero-board-with-Raspberry-Pi-chip-for-under-US-10.750410.0.html
Where do you see this product on Amazon for the price you mentioned?
I see a different product similar for double the price.
Thanks, Paul
I just don't understand the appeal of any of these boards that do not have Wi-Fi. If not useless, at least crippled and limited flexibility, and difficult upgradability for 90% of applications.
This is a microcontroller. It is not at all similar to the pi zero, which is a computer and considerably more complex.
Bharat Pi (www.bharatpi.net) Node Wi-Fi Boards[/url] is much more powerful single board architecture having compute (ESP32), network (Wi-Fi) and storage (SD card) together and same cost! We are looking for US/EU expansion, let us know if anyone interested to import.
I am wondering who would be using such boards, only makers?
I hope Raspberry Pi will release a microcontroller with inbuilt memory in the future; many engineers prefer memory inside the MCU only for various applications.
