While Apple did not announce it separately in its launch event, it has quietly updated the Airpods Pro 2 to feature a USB-C charging case, in line with the new USB-C equipped iPhone 15. The Airpods themselves remain largely unchanged, except for added lossless audio support in conjunction with the upcoming Apple Vision Pro, and a slightly improved IP54 rating for dust-resistance in both the case and the earphones.https://www.notebookcheck.net/Apple-Airpods-Pro-2-updated-with-USB-C-charging-lossless-audio-support-and-IP54-rating.749017.0.html
I don't plan to buy overpriced and bulky 1st gen Apple Vision Pro.
Why lossless audio support is limited only to VR googles? What is the technical reason behind this?
