Title: Nintendo Switch 2 with DLSS chasing PS5 standard as tech demo allegedly wows devs at Gamescom
Post by: Redaktion on September 07, 2023, 15:30:47
Rumors of the Nintendo Switch 2, or at least its performance potential, having been revealed at a recent trade event have been corroborated in two separate reports. Allegedly, some devs had the opportunity to witness a Switch 2 tech demo, with the hardware utilizing Nvidia's DLSS technology to produce output that would be acceptable from a PS5 game.

Funny rumor, no truth to it though. The next console Nintendo releases will be using outdated tech & be under powered just like the Switch. It will not even be able to compete with the raw performance of PS4/Pro. Will rely on Nvidia DLSS & frame generation just to run games at 720/1080p 40/60fps.

Honest question. Did you see the Gamescom demo, or is this speculation based on the first Switch? I am hesitant to believe the article in full, but I do hope it can exceed PS4.
