Volkswagen has announced an electric GTI concept based on the front-wheel drive ID. 2all expected to launch in around 2027. The German marque will face stiff competition from the likes of Fiat, Mini, Renault, and perhaps even Tesla. Volkswagen appears to be leaning more heavily on legacy nameplates than previous comments indicated.

What is with EV concepts and the pedals being pause and play buttons?

Says a lot about the current trends in design. Total lack of regard for the art of driving.

So it's no surprise nothing has been exciting.
