Intel CEO Pat Gelsinger has addressed a technology conference claiming that the company will regain the lead chip fabrication node technology in 2025. He also said that Intel has managed to snare a "large customer" for its 18A node, which is on track for 2025https://www.notebookcheck.net/Intel-claims-on-track-to-regain-foundry-leadership-from-TSMC-in-2025-secures-large-customer-for-18A-node-tech.745986.0.html
Sure. Given they have been delayed on absolutely everything node wise the promised for many years I would take their claims with serious skepticism.
Is there and investor meeting coming up! Gelsinger has some gall claiming anything these days, other than delays and project cutbacks.
