Title: Google Pixel 8a makes Geekbench debut with nerfed Tensor G3 at the helm

The Google Pixel 8a, codenamed Akita, scored 1,218 and 3,175 on Geekbench 5.5's single and multi-core tests. It runs a modified version of the Tensor G3 with reduced clocks on all of its CPU cores.

Exynos-based. Why, Google? Why?
Samsung is apparently ditching Exynos altogether for the S24 lineup, which makes good sense for a flagship.
Why can't Google collab with Qualcomm instead?
