Microsoft has revealed the date of what appears to be its next hardware event. Based on previous reports, Microsoft has lined up the Surface Go 4, Surface Laptop 6 and Surface Laptop Go 3, as well as the Surface Laptop Studio 2 and Surface Pro 10.https://www.notebookcheck.net/Microsoft-confirms-special-event-date-for-probable-Surface-Go-4-Surface-Laptop-6-Surface-Laptop-Go-3-Surface-Laptop-Studio-2-and-Surface-Pro-10-releases.741922.0.html
The Verge doesn't report the SL6 as part of this, but I hope it is, fyi
Also wonder if they're going to do the normal Surface thing of missing the latest processors by a month and spending most of the year a generation behind everyone else...Are these getting Meteor Lake, which promises big efficiency gains?
So based on years past, how long till product revealed at such even becomes available? (Specifically, Surface Laptop; I'm looking to upgrade from SL3.....)
Microsoft had it on point initially up until surface 4 series, Then they lost all motivation to do hardware when they just refused to give us current Gen AMD chips and dropped the ball on timing, fumbling their Win 11 launch w/o a decent Surface product to share it w/. Hopefully they finally get their s*** together and give the consumer what the market really needed.
Hope the next Surface Pro has Ryzen 7040U in it.
It's tons more efficient than Intel's chips.
