The most spacious model variant of the 2021 iPad Pro with the fast Apple M1 SoC is equipped with 2TB of storage and originally carried an unaffordable price tag of US$1,699, which has now been discounted to a much more bearable US$849 thanks to a limited-time deal.

Given that it's two years old, how much longer will it continue to get software updates from Apple?

Apple does not have an update guarantee, but the original iPad Pro from 2015 is still running on the latest iPadOS version as of today, so it received 8 years of software support.
