You are way off base. 90% of what you are saying and spreading is wrong. You clearly have never been in this factory and know nothing about production methods. Do you realize the equipment that makes this truck had to be invented. It did not exist. The engineering challenges alone that had to be overcome are staggering. To hear you critique it with almost zero knowledge is sad. Its just click bait. I work in GFTX and know much about CT. Lets leave it there. Please report on how to make a pencil vs manufacturing of a automobile. Seriously.

Unfortunately Mr Musk is nog an automotive engineer or designer and was
talking utter nonsense about the supposedly revolutionary exoskeloton. Its turned out that it is now just like a Honda Ridgeline, which was heavily criticized for not being a "real" truck as it didnt have a separate frame.Well it does have some castings added so thats something. I hope that the Tesla fanboys can live with that.
Anyone that has worked in the automotive industry knew that the proposal flouted by Mr Musk wasnt feasible as unfortunately there are factors like crash zones and manufacturing etc to concider.The Cybertruck is a flashy toy for rich yuppies to go get a latte from Starbuck in or go pick up some flowers and potting soil from Home Depot.Its rather striking but no worktruck.

Talking about producing an exoskeleton is easier than building one.Much like talking about hyperloop trains that run at 270mph that then turn into taxis running at 30mph in a tunnel driven by an Uber driver.

What your spreading is false information and it shows to anyone that knows anything about how vehicle design works and manufacturing that you know by the sounds of it literally nothing please research what the castings are and what part of the vehicle they are before you post something like this

How different could an exoskeleton actually be from a unibody? Neither have a frame, instead relying on the body to keep things square and in alignment.

It was never going to pass US crash tests. It was never going to be delivered at the price point promised.

NHTSA saved Musk from the exoskeleton concept. Inflation saved him from the price point.

Good thing for him that he didn't enter into some sort of binding agreement that forced him to deliver, like he did with Twitter.

If the author took 5 minutes to look at the Tesla exoskeleton patent that was submitted back in 2019, they would see that the exoskeleton design in the patent is EXACTLY what was observed in the factory spy shots.  The lies and BS from the fake wall street journal people "in the know" comes from a video where Munro & Associates speculated that the exoskeleton design might be based on stainless steel sheets metal that would be folded up like origami using metal brakes and laser scoring.  When Munro later saw the spy images they immediately dismissed it as "not an exoskeleton" when it didn't look like their fantasized interpretation of what an exoskeleton design might look like.  They too, never bothered to actually look at the publicly available patent.  Wholly unsurprising as to what you talentless, lazy bloggers consider journalism.  Whatever it takes to push a narrative and get clicks from simpletons, amiright?

If they had to make a few compromises to add crumple zones that fine.
For the most part the vehicle is one or two solid molds.

Why does the mere mention of Musk bring out all the crazies? On both side of the fence. He's just a brand name with a team that hires great talent, and knows how to get them to do amazing stuff. Stop taking his successes and failures so personally.
