The Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District had to deal with another spontaneous Tesla Model S combustion, this time of a flooded EV just sitting at a junk yard surrounded by Ferraris and Bentleys. That's just the next Model S ignition for them, after one caught fire on the highway earlier.https://www.notebookcheck.net/Tesla-Model-S-catches-fire-months-after-Florida-floods-as-firefighters-film-lengthy-flame-battle-and-tag-Elon-Musk.739691.0.html
Just an idea but maybe prioritise removing batteries from damaged EVs? Doesn't seem like a hard concept. Do regular cars get dumped in junkyard with 3/4 tank of gasoline/diesel?
Seems more of a junkyard management issue than a Tesla issue.

If it's a 20+ hours of work to remove the battery with use of specialized equipment and trained personnel then no one will bother. I'm guessing those structural batteries will make it even harder.
On a side-note: rebuilding a flooded ICE car is technically doable. An electric - even if you throw away the battery. You might end up with a fire down the road because some other high voltage component shorted out.
Tesla is the easiest way to tell dumb rich people apart.

A better idea, how about just removing this EV stupidity from the market all together
Wow, trying to compensate much, toto1234 and kek?
