Volkswagen appears to be pursuing another partnership with a Chinese company, this time to produce an electric vehicle under its Jetta subsidiary brand. Insiders indicate that there have been talks between the FAW-Volkswagen joint venture and Chinese company Leap Motor.

It's interesting how Chinese have newer/better technology than Germans so now they have to rebrand Chinese cars to be able to not disappear into irrelevancy.

No idea why they're buying two platforms that seem totally incompatible with each other instead of buying one and branching out from there🙂
