Title: Motorola Razr Plus teardown reveals unusual internals, UTG glass and possible explanation for durability fail
Post by: Redaktion on July 30, 2023, 18:27:21
The Razr Plus is Motorola's latest and potentially greatest foldable Android smartphone. However, it might not be the most robust of its category in 2023 thus far, although its weak points came as a surprise during its JerryRigEverything bend test. Now, an "autopsy" for the unit in question calls its repairability into question too.

It's possible the space is to allow eventual battery expansion as it ages or come under stress. I've seen many times where the battery bulged the screen until it broke.

This shouldn't happen in a year or two, which is the designed lifespan of such a device, unless the battery itself is flawed...
