The Omen 16 is back this year with an improved cooling solution that's larger and more efficient than before. It also happens to have one of the lowest starting prices we've seen for a GeForce RTX 4060 laptop at US$1100.https://www.notebookcheck.net/HP-Omen-16-2023-laptop-review-145-W-GeForce-RTX-4080-performance.728507.0.html
Wow, this is the absolute best looking gaming laptop I've seen at the starting price, possibly ever! It's just no-frills, everything looks proper, not wonky like barebones etc! And in a sense it's even more "business" than the current Lenovo Thinkpads(no thanks to Lenovo)!
The price of this configuration still makes one pause slightly though, if it were just ~15% lower, I'd think it's a no-brainer.
It really is a nice looking machine same as all recent Omens, but whoa this is an insane level of magnetism for fingerprints, smudges and dirt: notebookcheck.net/fileadmin/_processed_/e/2/csm_PXL_20230628_202704363_d955d86cb2.jpg
Almost like it was secured with french fries in its packaging. After seeing that I won't ever again complain about my X1 Carbon 😁

I'll even overlook that since I just want something compact, not carry it around a lot. If only the screen had >90% ARGB and >1000:1 contrast!
When I click the hp.com link at the end, the sales price is 1499USD, not 1100USD! That is a HUGE difference, so the article probably needs amending.
