It appears that DJI is moving closer to announcing the Air 3, a successor to the Air 2 and Air 2S. Just correcting a mistake above. The DJI Air 2 doesn't have a 1/2 inch sensor, it is a 1-inch cmos sensor.

The Air 2 does have a 1/2 inch sensor. The Air 2S has a 1 inch sensor.
