Title: Fujitsu Lifebook U9-series with palm-scanner support and Raptor Lake platforms make debut
Post by: Redaktion on June 06, 2023, 22:10:29
Fujitsu has announced that it has upgraded its Lifebook-series laptop and convertible tablet to 13th-gen Intel processors. The OEM also asserts that they are ideal for remote or hybrid work, especially with the option of a "palm vein sensor" as a biometric authentication feature. They are also equipped with 16:10 FHD displays that can be touch-responsive in either model.

What do you mean with this sentence:
"They are also equipped with 16:10 FHD displays that can be touch-responsive in either model."

U9313X has 16:9 (FHD)
U94/A has 16:10 (FHD+).

No?
Pitty that Fujitsus did't use 16:10 also in that X model though.
Also pitty that nobody offers truly matte touchscreen on the market. It is either glossy, or with some antireflective filter layer (as in this case).
It is not possible to manufacture truly matte touch display?
I think the only one who ever had one was that Acer ConcepD Ezel 3/7 laptops.
At least it seems so from picctures/videos. Everything else is just as mentioned above, gorila glass or gorila glass with filter..

Sure, without the glass screen would be more vulnerable, but then again users do not smash screen with hammer normally, even when it is convertible.
Ok, I think I should stop dreaming, it is way off the topic anyway :)
