Title: Google rolls out new fix to combat Pixel 6 and Pixel 7 series battery and overheating issues

Google has now confirmed that server issues were the reason behind some Pixel 6 and Pixel 7 series units overheating and experiencing excessive battery drain. Google has pushed changes to the Google app remotely, with no end-user action required.

It's a good thing they tuned their spying and user-data collecting software to reduce battery drain.

Any smartphone that allows the battery to heat up more than 39C for a long time during normal use can be a priori recognized as an architectural and technological defect that must be withdrawn from the market forcibly.
