Full European pricing has leaked for the Pixel Tablet, Google's return to releasing tablets after a period of absence. Not only will the Pixel Tablet retail for more than Apple's entry-level iPad, but it will also cost more than the cheapest iPad Air configuration. The Pixel Tablet could prove more versatile thanks to its bundled docking station, though.

600EUR for a Pixel Tablet? It got to be a joke. With the M1 iPad air selling for just $500, how is this supposed to be a better sale?

In July 2024 when Google gives up on tablets, I will wonder if we have learned our lesson when it comes to Google-branded hardware/software...

Ich bin Pixelfan seit erster Stunde, habe mehrere Pixelphones gehabt und finde die Geräte immer noch überragend. Was habe ich mich auf das Pixel Tablet gefreut. Aber für den Preis werde ich pausieren, oder auf Preissenkungen warten. Alles muss man ja nicht mitmachen.

I'll pass on the Pixel line-up again this year.  The software is ok but the hardware is always disappointing.

You can find discounted Surface Pro 8 for about the same price, which is fully capable PC (and imho better than Pro 9), not just some Android tablet for media consumption. Who will buy Pixel tablet? I can understand buying iPads - it complements macbooks as a second monitor, but Google doesn't have any professional Pixel laptop..

Support will start fading in July 2023, the tablet will be long dead by 2024. Source: every single other tablet google has produced.
