The Galaxy Book3 Ultra's computing power is not visible from the outside. While the RTX 4070 and i9-13900H are definitely the stuff of a powerful gaming laptop, these components are housed in an extremely slim and discreet case. This is only possible with significantly reduced power consumption, which does not hinder performance as much as one might expect.https://www.notebookcheck.net/Samsung-Galaxy-Book3-Ultra-16-with-RTX-4070-in-review-High-graphics-performance-in-a-business-like-notebook.716131.0.html
"Deviations in color reproduction can only be observed from extremely steep viewing angles."
I don't agree. I just move a little and notice this a lot. This also happens to the 14 pro variant but more noticeable on the Ultra due to the big screen. It is very annoying to me. So something to keep in mind if you end up purchasing this laptop.
Based on other reviews I am really surprised by the screen rating and sound rating, at 89% and 66% respectively. Other reviews have mentioned the remarkable sound and stunning display. I am not sure why the display only got an 89% if it has a high gamut, above average brightness (for an OLED), and spot on color accuracy.
Also odd, they lament the very poor gaming performance then rate the machine 100% for gaming. I must not be understanding the ratings correctly.
I love the site and their reviews but this one has me stumped with its above average gaming score, poor display score (relatively), and well below average audio score.
Notebookcheck ratings are one of those universe mysteries like UFO's , Loch Ness monster, Yeti etc.
Ignore it and just read the review.
