Double digits could mean a paltry 10%. Anything less than 20% more performance with 20% less power draw would be disappointing.

Why leave it at 20%? Anything less than 150% more performance with 150% less power draw would be disappointing!
Amd better make an alternative to Nvidia VSR!! Because that thing make me buy RTX 3060.
I agree with

Both NV and AMD are being too cautious with mid tier GPUs, trying to give gen over gen token improvement and nothing more. Bean counters are pushing towards more expensive cards, so they can't let 7600xt to be anywhere close to 6800XT. If the performance improvement is not at least 20% and more, beating 6700xt ( at ~6800 non XT level), while consuming under 200w, it will be a failure. Pricing should be ~300 at most, given the current market and economy.
However we all know that will not happen. AMD and NV will have another year with bad sales, wondering why. Towards the end of the year prices will inevitably come down a bit, but I don't think anyone will call either AMD or NV mid tier cards a good purchase

I might pay $300 for a 7600 XT... with 16 GB VRAM. Not impossible, but not likely.
