General Motors will move VW ID.4 and Nissan Leaf to the rank of most affordable electric vehicles in the US by deprecating all Chevy Bolt models. They are now the cheapest EVs in their respective categories, but GM is stopping the Bolt's production in favor of making electric pickups.https://www.notebookcheck.net/GM-reshuffles-the-rank-of-cheapest-electric-vehicles-in-the-US-by-axing-Chevy-Bolt.709907.0.html
I don't know if it's on purpose, but all electric cars under 30k are remarkably ugly
The Chevy Bolt EV and EUV are being replaced this fall in the Chevy lineup by the Equinox EV, which also has a starting price of $30,000 or so. Bigger and better in every way. See the Motor Trend story on the end of the Bolt which mentions this. GM confirmed this in their earnings call.
If only they could have held out for one more generation to give it the much-needed fast-charging speed upgrade.
