Not everyone will be cross-shopping the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and the Ioniq 6, but the similarity in names makes it easy to think they're similar vehicles. The Ioniq 5 and Ioniq 6 are both built on the same platform, but there are three vital differences that might make you choose one over the other.

God that Ioniq 6 is one of the ugliest cars in history. Looks like the love-child of a banana and a hyena.
