ZTE has started teasing the Axon 50 Ultra, the company's next flagship smartphone and the second offered with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 after the Nubia Z50 Ultra. The Axon 50 Ultra is also expected to offer plenty of other flagship hardware but will miss out on one of the Axon 40 Ultra's stand-out features.

A punch hole front camera is a step backwards? Have you actually SEEN the garbage selfie pictures that under display cameras produce? I refuse to buy a phone with an under display camera.  This is a SMART choice by ZTE. The technology just isn't there yet. Punch hole selfie cameras are SUPERIOR.

Wow. This sucks. I have the 40 Ultra, and man, what a bad ride. This is definitely a step backwards. Smaller, thicker bezels, hole-punch... nah... not me. Not this time. Sorry ZTE. If I wanted a phone like this... I'd buy OnePlus.
