This looks like an absolutely perfect laptop! It even has a tenkeyless keyboard.
If the Omen 17 is an omen, the Omen 16 may be a bit too loud due to an insufficient cooling system and a too thin chassis. Otherwise, you might be right.
Not too sure what market HP is aiming for? The fully backlit WASD keys make it look too gamer-centric, yet the RTX 4070 8GB @130W won't serve hardcore gamers for long at QHD. Its no doubt an excellent productivity machine, but those keys just make it look a tad out of place IMO.
Having sais that, got to say I really like how HP is trying to be competitive again. At least their offerings are compelling again.

What does Transcend think about the use of its trademark in HP model names? Is Taiwan still a US ally?
