Qualcomm's upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC might be the first to feature a 1 GHz Adreno 750 GPU according to rumors. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 will also see a Cortex-X4 "Hunter" core with speeds up to 3.72 GHz and will use a 1+3+2+2 ARM CPU cluster. It remains to be seen if the higher clocked Adreno 750 would be exclusive to certain partners or be available for all.

So it won't be very long now before a phone hits 4 GHz on at least one core, maybe even two. What a time to be alive...
