Still extremely overpriced compared to a better gaming performance CPU, 5800x3D (~$280ish-CPU w/MB bundle ~$470ish), online.
I guess Intel have to sell something... again (Arc?)... from it segments to make up for the extra huge future losses soon due to it's silly pricing campaign.
Clearly, Intel still believes today that, CONSUMER, $400+ so-called "flagship" CPUs is still a huge profitable thing from the early 2000s years, huh?
I guess Moore's vision is really is dead other than body.
So it's about 13700K price, which is a better cpu IMO.
Yeah, the 13700K is a 5.5GHz all core 12900KS with more cache and about $350-380 depending. Though, the 12900KS has a 115°c tjMax temperature 🌡 threshold. Again, most OC boards can tweak the 13700K's tjMax temp also.

Sadly, you are right.
But AMD has nothing to cover against the Raptor+MB vs Zen4+MB bundle. AMD completely failed in 2023 in sales. Although this is a showdown of two sides of one to the public ...
