Qualcomm China's announcement of an upcoming launch event has led to speculation that the next addition to the Snapdragon 7 series of mid-range mobile processors will be unveiled on that day. The silicon in question could be a successor to the current Gen 1 flagship, a refresh of the same, or, possibly, both. It is projected to power next-gen smartphones from brands such as Realme and Redmi.
