Sony has released a new update for some of the circa 32 million PlayStation 5 consoles it has sold to date. Rolling out on Sony's beta program, firmware update 7.00 bring long-awaited HDMI VRR support at 1440p, as well as Discord integration and improved ease-of-use functionality.
