The Tesla Model Y and Model X seem to be the best bet for the least amount of electric vehicle range drop in cold weather, study finds. The Model 3 is not too shabby, either, why for some like the Ford Mustang Mach-E the winter weather battery range drop could reach double what Tesla's electric SUVs manage.https://www.notebookcheck.net/Teslas-are-the-all-weather-electric-car-champions-as-per-winter-EV-battery-range-cold-temperature-drop-study.674871.0.html
Why is the long range model 3 (and similarly Y)'s range in 70 degree weather less than than the Bolt's in testing? Those are supposed to be over 300 miles...
Tesla owners report much greater range loss in cold weather, as much as 50% that is expected from an ultra high nickel content battery.
... but Kona still has the best winter range. Funny how math works, right?
