Motorola has started offering the Moto G Play (2023) in the US, where it is available for US$170. Despite being nearly two years younger than its predecessor, the Moto G Play (2023) actually relies on a weaker chipset. Motorola should have provided a better front camera, but everything else is good. I think the Helio G37 chipset will be able to perform well here.
