According to a new report, Huawei is preparing to update its MateStation X all-in-one desktop. While the company currently offers the Apple iMac competitor with an AMD Ryzen 7 5800H, it is rumoured to have switched to Intel and the Core i9-12900H for its 2022 refresh.https://www.notebookcheck.net/Huawei-MateStation-X-2022-leaks-with-a-3-2-aspect-ratio-display-and-an-Intel-Core-i9-12900H.664461.0.html
I have Matebook D 15. The display sucks. Very terrible colors.
Anyways 4K is just 2x 1080p screens placed side by side horizontally or vertically. 4K 28.2 inch means 2x 14 inch 1080p laptop screens.
4K would be a 2 by 2 grid of 1080p or 4 1080p screens. The screen on the Matebook X Pro is very nice compared to the lower end D model.

jfc.
All I want is for the MateView monitor to be updated. Ideally with 90Hz, but if not that then at least with HDMI 2.1 to drive it properly from that port.
Maybe this news is a good sign that some update might come there in not too long, though.
