I really don't understand why every government in the world doesn't do exactly the same thing. Tesla are by far and away the experts at this game and have been been from the start. Tesla's 'Supercharger' facilities are extremely well planned, installed, operated and supported. The fact that they are now being opened up to all EVs means there is no barrier any longer to the general EV motoring public from using them. Instead, billons of public money is being squandered on inappropriately sited, poorly maintained and hugely unnecessarily expensive rapid (DC) charging facilities that are difficult to use (due to the need for a million and one different apps/RFID cards).
