I had never bothered to check benchmarks of smartwatch SoCs and I am amazed to see the Apple S8 perform so poorly by being last in every benchmark. Anandtech's reviews of the A-series had revealed the efficiency cores which are also used in the S-series to be on par on a per-clock basis with the Cortex A76!
