Intel's upcoming Core i9-13900KS processor scored 928 and 18,453 in CPU-Z's single and multi-core tests, respectively, effectively making it the fastest consumer desktop CPU on the market. Intel claims that it can boost to 6.0 GHz out of the box without overclocking.

How can Intel's upcoming Core i9-13900KS effectively be the fastest CPU on the market if it isn't on the market yet?

Also, how does leading in one benchmark make it the fastest CPU?
