Xiaomi has launched the Mijia Smart Bath heater in China. The device can warm or cool your bathroom using up to 2,400 W power, covering an area of 52 cm (~20.5-in) in width. Plus, the gadget has an integrated 1,100-lumen light. You can control the heater with an accompanying Bluetooth remote, the Mijia app or voice commands.

Toto, as an unfortunate enough human to be European, I can tell you that the continent is NOT back to the middle ages and poverty. NOT YET...

It already is. I'm an impoverished celibate castrato. I know when things are what they are.

Please don't continue making a mockery of me

Hello from Eastern Europe.
I can confirm that current electricity prices are driving people up the wall. All those electric heaters (air to air, air to water) have gone up in cost by several orders of magnitude. Wood chips have gone up in price by 3x since those were being imported from Belarus. The cheapest heating option for central heating remains the black mineral oil (even if you have to pay a hefty pollution tax).
I am sitting in a room at 18°C and I don't want to turn on my 800W infrared heater.
Fingers crossed that electricity prices go down.
