Xiaomi is geared to launch its next smartphone in China next week. This device, the Xiaomi Civi 2, will have the honor of being the first smartphone to copy Apple's centered pill as seen on the iPhone 14 Pro models. It will, however, opt for two 32 MP selfie cameras instead.

The double camera "pill" cut out existed before the iphone 14 pro, apple was by no means the first to do it whatsoever. If anything, apple copied it from samsung, huawei, honor, vivo etc. Look at the huawei P40 pro, or the samsung galaxy s10 plus.

But hey, what do I know, im not the bullshit tech journalist who acts like apple does everything first.
