Himiway has announced that you will soon be able to purchase some of its fat-tire e-bikes on Amazon. Each model has a top speed of 20 mph (~32 kph), with various batteries providing from 60 to 80 miles (~97 to 129 km) of range on a single charge. The bicycles are fitted with LCDs to show real-time data, with a USB port to charge your phone.

What's with the fat tires again? Off road? Otherwise it just seems inefficient.

Looks interesting but Ariel Rider's Kepler model is the one to beat in this price range with it's 1000 watt nominal 1800 watts peak Bafang motor, 52V 20Ah LG Battery,1650 Watt 33amp 52V Controller,106 Nm torque for $1800.
