New iPad tablets and M2-powered Mac computers are apparently on the menu for an Apple October special event according to a well-known analyst. The latest iPad and iPad Pro models are in for an overhaul in comparison to their predecessors, while fans could be treated to a brand-new MacBook Pro laptop before the year is out.

Looks like the Mini is getting a new form factor, otherwise they would have stuffed the M2 in the old case just like they did the 13 inch MBP. I'm betting this new form factor will also support the M2 Pro, right in that $1,000 gap between a high end Mini and the cheapest Mac Studio.
