More efficiency and less heat development. Users expected these attributes from the switch from Samsung to TSMC as the SoC manufacturer of the Qualcomm chipset. However, our review of the OnePlus 10T indicates that the Plus version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 is no game changer. https://www.notebookcheck.net/TSMC-is-no-savior-for-Qualcomm-either-Snapdragon-8-Gen-1-in-the-OnePlus-10T-put-to-the-test.642012.0.html
I believe these OEMs should shift their focus somewhere, there is too much focus on SoCs and what they can do and stuff, consumers need a ne area of advertisement

You mean...a folding screen?😅
Use Iqoo 9T for testing instead, one plus 8+ gen 1 is not performing as it should be but iqoo is performing far better than the OP 10t.
Use that mobile and do you research again, or I'll say biased research.
So, you guys basically used one of the worst phones on the market with SD8 plus gen 1 and call it a "day" on the heating issues? You do realize that OnePlus 10T is made out of plastic (including the frame)? I swear "notebook" is becoming a garbage reviewer from many aspects.
Try to review a phone with a open mind, closing in on a conclusion without looking at other reviewers unit is not accurate.
And try to wait for some updates so some issues will be rectified and then a give a long term review.
And for your confirmation 8+gen1 is leaps and bounds ahead of 8gen1 as I have used 2 8gen1 devices knowing it's issues I then tried Gt2pro both had their own issues and main part was both had different 8gen1 tunning
One focused on performance one focused on overall efficiency but all had heating and throttling issues.
8+gen1 does heat as there is no processor that does not heat.

Too cumbersome, maybe a new battery technology, lithium has had enough, that holds charge past the 800 cycles we have
