A cheaper Surface Duo has turned up on eBay, months after Microsoft cancelled the project. Codenamed Cronos, the Surface Duo 2 Lite or Surface Duo Go would have featured a plastic build with no Glance Bar, plus an 'upper mid-range chipset and rear-facing cameras.

I'd still be using my Surface Duo if it worked properly with Android Auto (wireless), the update arrived but I just get half a screen in the car so that's no good. It is in a drawer, also unsaleable because the fragile glass back is cracked from a minor fall.

I'd still buy a more robust (plastic) version as long as the software was fully sorted because the format is great as it is I can only give it 4 out of 10.
