A Redditor claiming to work at Fossil has posted "an update" assuring the smartwatch brand's fans that it is making progress on completing and launching its latest UI and smartphone companion app for its devices. This, apparently, involves the long-awaited upgrade to Wear OS 3, thereby purporting to confirm that it is still on track to drop in 2022.

I keep hearing about progress on Wear OS3 on Fossil Gen VI, but not seeing anything that I can add to my watch. I'm starting to feel like I was had when I bought the watch. My next watch--a Wear OS 3 alternative--is already on the way. If I like it, I'll dump the Fossil Gen VI and forget about Wear OS watches altogether Screw you, Google!
