The global version of the Smart Band 7 is already shipping, albeit inadvertently in some cases. Xiaomi has also certified the fitness tracker with the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) in Singapore, underlining that it is preparing a release outside China.

Hi guys,
Having had the previous mi bands I so wonder without the GPS upgrade whether this incremental upgrade will be of notice or of use, especially with less battery time. If the GPS was utilized the model becomes more of a stand alone as for now it looks like less battery time, more charging and a watch face that may not feel any better in real life,
